The science of water
For Grade 4 students
This 60-minute hands-on science workshop engages students to understand the importance of water and how we can manage water sustainably into the future. In this workshop engages students to explore water’s role in our lives; nature’s job of recycling water; solids in our water; how water is cleaned, our regional water system, and building solutions to manage and sustain future water access. Following the workshop, students are challenged to complete an online water audit at home to assess their daily water use and further explore ways to conserve their water footprint.
